Emmerdale’s Vanessa Woodfield emerges from the police station after an overnight stay in Wednesday's episode (7pm, see our TV Guide for full listings).
It all kicked off in the hospital when Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) tore into Amy Wyatt (Natalie Jamieson). As emotions ran sky high – with Vanessa raging about Amy and Kerry's duplicity over causing Frank's death in the factory fire – Amy fought back in defence of her mum who was knocked unconscious by Vanessa's sister Tracy (Amy Walsh).
In the commotion, a nurse tried to get the pair to quieten down and got hit by Vanessa! Surrounded by her dad's killers, it was Vanessa who got arrested and carted off to the police station where she spent the night…
As the vet emerges into the daylight, free again, there are folk desperate to know if she's shopped Kerry and Amy. Will she confide in fiancee Charity (Emma Atkins)? Are Amy and Kerry's crimes now on the police radar?
