Mandy Richardson who is pregnant with Darren Osborne’s child is terrified when she starts suffering crippling pains and thinks she might be having a miscarriage.
Earlier on Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) lies to Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) about where the winning scratch card that she won the previous day, has gone. Little does Mandy realise her other half used it to go gambling in The Loft!
Things get worse when Darren and his estranged wife Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) have a mediation meeting about their forthcoming custody case.
Nancy is upset when against her wishes, her lawyer James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) verbally rips Darren to shreds. That wasn’t what Nancy wanted! As things get nasty Mandy, who is also there, gets increasingly stressed.
With the insults and accusations fly, Mandy rushes to the toilet where Nancy finds her scared and alone. Mandy is certain she’s having a miscarriage. Will her bitter rival Nancy show her some compassion and be there to support her?
Elsewhere Marnie Nightingale (Lysette Anthony) and her son Alfie are back in Chester. Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) is livid when she sees her new, unwelcome house guest, Donna-Marie Quinn, is brazenly wearing one of her late husband Dirk’s old shirts.
Marnie and Cindy decide enough’s enough. They have to get rid of Donna-Marie (Lucy Jo Hudson) for good...
They come up with a plan to find some incriminating evidence but as they start snooping round the room she’s staying in, they are suddenly interrupted and forced to hide under the bed!
Meanwhile Laurie Shelby (Kyle Pryor) who wants the Deputy Head role at Hollyoaks High, asks Sally to give him another chance.
Plus Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) who's also after a job at the school, is excited that headteacher Sally has given her the opportunity to observe a class.
She turns up at the school but things start to go badly awry when Sally leaves Sienna alone in a classroom and all hell breaks loose when Juliet Quinn (Niamh Blackshaw) stirs up trouble.
