Meanwhile, John Palmer and Marilyn Chambers's marriage is suddenly on shaky ground because of their disagreement over whether or not to move to the city to be near their injured soldier son, Jett.

Marilyn feels Jett should be given the opportunity to live independently and has made such good progress since being injured in an explosion at an army base in Afghanistan. However, John disagrees and doesn't think Marilyn is being sympathetic to the daily challenges facing Jett.

When it seems like John has already made up his mind about a move to the city, will he really abandon his wife for the sake of his son?

Elsewhere, there's still bad blood between Justin Morgan and Ben Astoni, because Justin covered-up his brother Brody's affair with Simone Bedford, and the fact he was cheating on Ben and Maggie's daughter, Ziggy.

Justin is disappointed Ben is still holding a grudge. But it doesn't look as if Ben will be forgiving him anytime soon. Unless their respective other halves Leah Patterson and Maggie Astoni can find a way to make things right!

Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy.

He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
