Home and Away spoilers: Ziggy Morgan breaks down on her birthday

Home and Away, Ziggy Morgan

After Ziggy's angry bust-up with cheating hubby Brody and his new girlfriend Simone, she's in no mood to celebrate her birthday

There's more bad blood between the Morgan and the Astoni families after Ziggy punched her cheating husband Brody Morgan while he was out on a picnic date with his new lady, Simone Bedford.

However, Ziggy couldn't care less and just regrets not punching Brody harder!

But Ziggy can't keep the tough girl act going for long, and once back at the Astoni family farmhouse she breaks down in tears and insists her headteacher mum Maggie sack Simone from her job as support teacher at Summer Bay High!

Meanwhile, Maggie and her husband try and do their best to cheer up their daughter since it's Ziggy's birthday. But she just doesn't have a whole lot to celebrate this year.

Home and Away, Raffy Morrison

Raffy has been working on a secret 'school project' with Mason (Picture: Channel 5)

Elsewhere in the Bay, Raffy Morrison and her big brother Mason Morgan continue their secret 'school project' in the garage, to extract cannabis oil that could help Raffy with her epilepsy.

Raffy told Mason she felt great the morning after her first drop of CBD oil. However, as Raffy gets stressed-out over the family fallout involving Brody's affair with Simone, she fears she'll have another epileptic fit.

So without Mason's permission, she sneakily takes more of the oil...

Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5

Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
