Home and Away: Olivia Richards says goodbye to Summer Bay
After being offered a new job opportunity in Melbourne, fashion designer Olivia packs her bags and gets ready to leave Summer Bay!
It's party time at Salt as Irene, Jasmine, Roo, Leah, Mason, Hunter and Marilyn help throw a fond farewell for fashion designer Olivia, after she decides she's ready to leave Summer Bay and take-up the new job opportunity in Melbourne.
When Olivia walks into the restaurant, she's emotional to see the ladies each wearing one of her designer dresses. And as Irene gives an emotional speech, Olivia realises how hard it is going to be leaving behind all the friends she has made in Summer Bay, even troublesome on/off boyfriend Hunter!
Elsewhere, Hunter and Leah are still at odds after her interference ruined things between him and university lecturer Christina. Hunter pleads for another chance with Christina, and after some reluctance, Christina finally takes the plunge as things get passionate between the pair in a hotel room!
Jasmine is still shocked by the level of anger in Robbo which he took out on the punching bag at the gym. But can the hospital nurse get the tough guy to open up some more?
Meanwhile, Alf attempts to play peacekeeper as John continues to give wife Marilyn the silent treatment after she brought about the awkward reunion between their teenage foster son Ty and his estranged mum Jodi.
Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
