Leah pays an early morning visit to Sophie asking her not to call the police about Heath turning up at the school, and notices Sophie looks off colour. Later, Sophie tells Nate she is having similar symptoms to morning sickness. Back at her office, she takes a pregnancy test and collapses. The pair soon discover she isn't pregnant, but is suffering from ruptured appendix due to her painkiller abuse.
Sasha is full of enthusiasm about her future after an inspiring careers day, whereas Matt is the total opposite. She soon realises Matt is extremely insecure and doesn't believe he can do any better than his job as a pizza boy.
Upset and angry, Heath packs his bags intending to run off with his children but Brax changes his mind. When Connie collects Darcy, Heath is forced to turn his back on his daughter when she cries. Irene calls Connie to let her know Heath would never harm Darcy. Connie decides to dig deeper and Darcy admits that Heath was appealing for custody. When Connie hears the news she warns Heath to give up, as he will lose.
