Peri leaves baby Steph with the Browns!

As the Osbornes prepare for the christening, Peri takes her daughter for a walk but heads straight to the Browns' house and leaves baby Steph on the doorstep. Peri watches as Angela scoops the baby into her arms. Jack, Tom and Nancy wonder where Peri's gone, concerned they’ll be late for the christening. Peri, meanwhile, has gone into school and takes a seat next to a confused Nico. The Osbornes are shocked when Angela arrives at The Dog with Steph, and Jack confesses he knew Peri wasn't coping. Jack calls the police and when Nico sees them all in the village she tells them she was just with Peri at school.

Louis is relieved when Patrick says he can go back to class after thinking he'd been sacked. Patrick tries to drink his coffee but his leg buckles and he spills it all over himself. Maxine gets a call about Patrick's accident and takes him some fresh clothes. As she leaves, Patrick tries to walk across the office unaided, but collapses again. When Peri asks if he needs any help, he yells at her to leave him alone, which makes her cry. Feeling guilty, Patrick invites her into his office and she tells him about giving Steph away. Peri tells Patrick to take control and helps him into his wheelchair. They both head down the school corridor with their heads held high. Maxine, Sienna, Tom and Jack are stunned when Peri wheels Patrick into the village.

Back at The Dog, Nancy tries to tell Tom that Peri's not well and they all promise to help her. At home, Patrick tells Maxine that he wants her to help him die.
