Ste is in denial that he might have HIV but John Paul needs answers, so he makes an appointment for them both to get tested. John Paul goes to the clinic on his own, while Ste goes to Peri's concert instead, so John Paul's relieved when Ste finally turns up.
As they wait for their appointment, Ste and John Paul make awkward small talk and John Paul snaps at Ste, saying that, after everything he's been through, he might now have HIV because of him.
John Paul and Ste are called in to see separate nurses - John Paul is relieved when he gets a negative result, while Ste is floored when his test comes back positive. Will the doomed-in-love pair find the strength to face the future together - or is this a betrayal too far for John Paul?
