Maddy crawls over to Casey but she can't wake him. Roo wakes to find that Maddy hasn't come home and she and Alf begin the search. Kyle and Tamara join the search but, as they ask around at The Diner, Marilyn lets slip that Maddy has stayed out all night with Casey before, and Kyle clocks a hint of jealousy in Tamara.
Alf and Roo come across an exhausted Maddy who leads them to Casey. The ambulance brings Casey to the hospital and Maddy tells Brax a car ran them off the road, but she doesn't know who was driving. Doctor Bradley confirms that Brax has a spinal injury and there's no way to tell if Casey will walk again. Roo, Alf and Harvey take Maddy home but Tamara insists on staying.
Marilyn is enjoying herself with Winston in The Diner, something John, notices. He gets upset and excuses Marilyn of being 'unprofessional'. Marilyn tells John that she is committed to the business, whether Winston is in her life or not, leaving John dismayed. Later, Winston tells Harvey that his business has gone bust and he's totally broke.
Also, Sally checks the wishing well website and discovers that someone has made an anonymous donation of $80,000.
