Danny Baldwin returned from a break in Spain, determined to win back his estranged wife, Frankie. But it was all change when he learnt Liam Connor had not only bought shares in Underworld… but had got together with his ex-missus, too!

Elsewhere, Liz and Steve McDonald celebrated buying the Rovers from Fred Elliot and Bev Unwin.

Sean Tully got the wrong end of the stick when he thought Jamie Baldwin’s love for an unnamed other meant he had feelings for him. Oops!

 

EastEnders

Denise Fox was guilt-tripped by daughter Libby into appearing in court, where she gave her abusive ex-husband, Owen Turner, a glowing character reference. Owen got a suspended sentence and was freed. Then, later on, Libby went missing...

Elsewhere, Honey Mitchell continued to struggle with the fact that her and Billy’s daughter, Petal – as Honey called her for a few weeks – had Down’s syndrome.

Sadie King ruthlessly betrayed partner-in-crime Cain Dingle. But he overheard her make a deal with Tom King, and confronted them both with a shotgun!

Cain ended up kidnapping the two Kings and demanded a £5million ransom for their safe return.

The police eventually caught up with fleeing kidnapper Cain, though, and his car sped over the edge of a quarry into the murky water below.
