Go Go Shirley! EastEnders viewers were amused at Shirley Carter’s (Linda Henry) interesting outfit choice during last night’s episode (Tuesday, April. 5) with fans comparing her to cartoon character Inspector Gadget.
During last night’s EastEnders, the Carter clan attended Tina Carter’s (Luisa Bradshaw-White) funeral, but the emotional service was soon interrupted by a drunk Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
Linda was furious that Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) had stolen her husband, Mick (Danny Dyer) and ruined her marriage.
But, as Linda shouted the odds outside the church trying to convince Shirley and daughter Nancy (Maddy Hill) that Janine had meddled with her marriage, fans were distracted by Shirley’s Inspector Gadget style attire.

Later on, things took a turn for the worst when Linda showed up at the wake after a failed attempt by Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) to keep her away and despite Shirley banning Linda from coming.
Chaos soon ensued when Linda confronted Janine at the pub and the pair ended up brawling.
The fight resulted in Linda being kicked out of the pub and Sharon taking Linda in for the night.
While Mick was recovering from the devastating aftermath, Janine was there to comfort him and he admitted that he wanted to be with her officially, once he had sorted everything out with Linda.
These dramatic turn of events occurred after Linda spotted Janine at the funeral service and recognised her from when Janine went to see her over New Year.
Janine used her famous Judith alter-ego to pay Linda a visit at her mum’s pub and manipulated Linda into drinking again in an attempt to ruin her relationship with Mick after Janine fell for him while working with him at The Queen Vic.
The notorious EastEnders baddie was successful in her mission, as she has crushed any hopes for Mick to rekindle his relationship with Linda and now has him all to herself.
Now it seems nobody believes Linda’s claims about Janine, but will they eventually uncover the truth?
