After last week's 'fat shaming' incident, Becky wants to get serious on tackling obesity. But how will the staff react to her fat fighting ideas?
After encouraging surgery colleague Emma Reid to stand her ground against a patient accusing her of 'fat shaming' last week, practice manager Becky Clarke is on a mission to tackle obesity.
However, when Becky suggests all patients now get weighed as part of the consultation, to start a conversation about healthy weight, how will the rest of the staff react? Will Becky be accused of trying to 'fat shame' patients?
Jimmi Clay is on board with Becky's suggestions. However, when an overweight plumber 'Big Vin' Stoakes comes in to see Jimmi about an ear infection, he doesn't take kindly to Jimmi's request that he step onto the scales!
Meanwhile, receptionist Karen Hollins and her hubby Rob are still at odds after their bust-up over their cancelled holiday and losing the money they paid for the cruise. During a heart-to-heart over lunch, will Karen start to see just how difficult Rob's job is at the moment? And can Becky use her customer service skills to help the couple get back some of the money they lost?
Elsewhere in Letherbridge, nurse Ayesha Lee is not impressed when a woman, Jeanette Kenny, steals a lightbulb from her supermarket shopping basket. But things take an even stranger turn when Jeanette then offers Ayesha £20 to return the lightbulb or else something bad will happen...
