Doctors, Shak Hanif, Reza Kadir

With an arrest still to be made, a frustrated Shak takes matters into his own hands and confronts DJ Reza with questions of his own...

Ayesha Lee still can't fully remember what happened to her the night she was attacked after a night out at the Student Union bar. With an arrest still to be made in the police investigation, Shak Hanif is determined to seek justice for Ayesha.

Even though he's just on a summer work placement with the police, Shak decides to take matters into his own hands and question suspect Reza Kadir, who was DJ-ing on the night of Ayesha's attack. Reza has already come under suspicion after commenting that drink-drugging is not such a big deal.

But when Shak questions Reza and convinces him to come to the police station, the DJ provides new information that might identify Ayesha's REAL attacker. He saw a drunk woman outside the bar, fighting off a man and then jump in a cab...

Meanwhile, frustrated that she still can't remember what happened, Ayesha wonders if returning to the Student Union bar will help jog her memory.

Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters.

Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave?

Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy.

He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
