At the Sharma sweet factory, Rishi tells concerned Jai and Priya that everything is under control… but keeps quiet about his deal with dodgy Kim Tate
Emmerdale siblings Jai (Chris Bisson) and Priya (Fiona Wade) are really worried about the state of affairs at the family factory, which is on the brink of going bust. But their dad Rishi (Bhasker Patel) insists he's got it all under control.
What Rishi fails to mention is the deal he's been offered by Kim Tate, the terms of which are so harsh they made Rishi and his wife Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) wince.
With the kids out of the way, Rishi tries to reassure worried Manpreet. He's convinced he can negotiate a better rate on Kim's loan. But when ruthless Kim (Claire King) later tells the Sharma boss he can like it or lump it, Rishi makes a shock decision…
