Jacob Gallagher has been in a strange mood since hearing the news about ex-lover Maya on Emmerdale. Could he be using Leanna Cavanagh to get over her?

Jacob Gallagher (played by Joe Warren Plant) was left in a right muddle after his kiss with bad girl Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger) on Halloween on Emmerdale (7:00pm, ITV, see our TV Guide for full listings).

Since then, Jacob has heard his ex-lover, predator teacher Maya Stepney is being released early from prison, where she was serving a sentence after their inappropriate affair was exposed, and the news has thrown the lad into an even bigger spin.

However, could it be Jacob has now found a way to move on from Maya?

After agreeing to meet-up, Jacob and Leanna find themselves getting too close for comfort again. But this time, when Leanna moves in for a passionate kiss, Jacob doesn't pull away.
