Rishi Sharma enjoys being spoiled on his birthday but his daughter Priya is rattled by Aiesha's behaviour
It’s Rishi Sharma’s birthday and the sweet factory boss revels in being the centre of attention. However his possessive daughter, Priya (Fiona Wade) is rattled by Aiesha Jutla's (Shila Iqbal) thoughtfulness towards Rishi (Bhaskar Patel) and can’t help feeling a little jealous.
Elsewhere a frazzled Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) is up to her eyes in preparation for the opening of the beer garden the next day.
Plus mum Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) can’t help feeling anxious as she attends the pre-op consultancy with her son Matty (Ash Palmisciano).
A worried Moira bombards the consultant with questions as they go through the procedure leaving Matty exasperated.
He later gives his mum a stern talking to and tells her in no uncertain terms that he doesn’t want Moira speaking up for him and he also doesn’t want her to attend the operation with him tomorrow.
Will Moira respect her son’s wishes and stay away and how will she cope with being side-lined?
