Brooke Hathaway has a heart-to-heart with Mandy Richardson which makes her feel much better
Brooke Hathaway (Talia Grant) is left feeling terrible about herself when mouthy Juliet Quinn teases her about her autism.
A distressed Brooke is heart-broken when Donna-Marie’s daughter tells her that her autism is a curse.
Later on Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) is worried when she spots Brooke outside in the street, alone and crying.
Pregnant Mandy, who has troubles of her own, is quick to console Brooke and has some kind and comforting words for her.
She tells Brooke how wonderful she is exactly as she is and gives the young teen a massive confidence boost.
As the two of them chat, Brooke opens up to talk to Mandy about what it’s like to have autism and a candid Mandy also shares her worries with Brooke and tells her about her unborn baby’s spina-bifida diagnosis.

Meanwhile Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) has organised a special disability awareness day at The Bean, and lots of the school children are gathered for a special singing performance.
However Nancy's son Oscar, who is performing in the choir, starts to get stage fright. Will he be able to sing?
Plus Darren and Mandy are at loggerheads once again when they continue to argue over what is best for their baby. Can they reach any middle ground or are their differing views going to cause an even bigger rift between the pair of them?
