Sylver McQueen and Mercedes share a passionate kiss when Sylver asks her to spend Christmas Day with him and the rest of the McQueen clan

The chemistry sizzles once again as Sylver McQueen (David Tag) and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) end up kissing.

Earlier on, Mercedes is desperate to have her late husband Russ’s body released and is getting increasingly agitated.

Meanwhile Breda (Moya Brady) is worried that the whole McQueen Christmas is going down the pan and is keen to try and get some kind of family gathering sorted.

In an attempt to bring them all together, Breda and Goldie (Chelsee Healey) beg Sylver (David Tag) to try and sweet-talk Mercedes into letting them all spend Christmas Day together.

Sylver has a heart-to-heart with Mercedes and as he tries to comfort her, one thing leads to another and the pair end up kissing.

Elsewhere Breda is over the moon when Jack Osborne (Jimmy McKenna) gives her a dog as a gift.

Plus Darren (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) and Mandy (Sarah-Jayne Dunn) break the news to all their kids that their unborn baby has Spina Bifida. Luke’s son Ollie (Aedan Duckworth) is particularly upset and begins to feel like he’s an extra burden to the family. What will Ollie decide to do?
