Nicole is still conflicted over giving up her baby son, George, to Marilyn and Sid. Angelo wants to leave town to start afresh, and he wants to take Nicole and George with him. Meanwhile, Morag receives a very unexpected houseguest - Douglas Graham, who turns out to be Penn's grandfather. Morag tells Nicole to act on her desire for custody now, to avoid any attempt by Douglas to seek guardianship of his great-grandson. After Douglas has the chance to meet George, Nicole makes the decision to leave Summer Bay with Angelo - and they're going to take George with them. Sid and Roo arrive early at their meeting about fundraising for the African hospital. Some flirting goes on before Gina, John and Laura turn up. Laura and Roo wow the meeting with their astute business approach and convince the group that a ball is the right idea for a fundraiser. After a successful meeting with the hospital board, Sid and Roo are excited and clearly loving each other's company. Elijah and Laura are also enjoying having the excuse of the meeting to see each other. The pair arrange for drinks later in the evening. It's a date... An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
