Getting rid of Brett the vet was a good idea... He was far too cool - and handsome - for the Paddy school of veterinary practices. But Rhona has replaced Brett with yet another good-looking vet. Her name's Vanessa, she's a friend of Rhona's and she's a bit of a wild woman. She could lead Rhona astray, which means Paddy still has plenty to worry about. But it's Kerry who should be worried as Vanessa likes the look of Andy. Katie's definitely worried... When she thought she was about to die down the pit, she realised what was important in her life - and Declan's not top of her list. In fact, Katie's not sure Declan's on the list at all. Oh dear. Because when Declan thought Katie was going to die he realised he couldn't live without her. Trouble is, it seems Declan can't live without Megan, either - and where Megan goes, rotten Robbie goes, too. Katie doesn't tell Declan how she's feeling, but she does tell Gennie. Given Gennie's track record for keeping secrets that means Declan could soon see that the look of love is lacking in Katie's eyes. Edna doesn't like the look of her life... She has little money, no job and can't pay Tootsie's vet bill. Then Paddy tells her Tootsie has cancer. It's looking like a bleak Christmas at Edna's house.
