Matthew and Anna celebrate their engagement with a party. Donald bursts in and tells everyone about Anna colluding with him to ruin the Kings. After a bitter exchange, Anna is hurt when Donald disinherits her. A fuming Matthew later confronts Donald at Holdgate. When Donald clutches at his chest, Matthew holds his medication from him until Donald agrees to give Anna his blessing. But Matthew is stunned when Donald's heart attack proves fatal and he hurriedly wipes his prints from the pill bottle and sneaks home... Brenda apologises to Terry for being judgmental and they share a moment, but Laurel interrupts. Bob despairs at their uselessness and asks Betty and Val for their help. The ladies give Brenda a makeover but another attempt to seduce Terry goes awry. Later, Terry approaches Brenda and suggests they give a relationship a try. Jimmy is pleased when Scarlett says she can't move into Daz's flat because it's a pigsty. Scarlett tales a more proactive approach and hires Laurel to clean the flat, but Daz and Jake are horrified. Scarlett moans about Daz's disinterest to Lexi, who advises her to play hard to get. Also, Victoria gets another 30 pounds out of David.
