Emmerdale grooming storyline to take this EXPLOSIVE turn tonight

Emmerdale Maya and Jacob

Jacob Gallagher discovers that Maya has stitched him up - and he's MAD

Jacob Gallagher will dump Maya Stepney in a furious rage in tonight’s Emmerdale, as the grooming storyline takes another shock twist.

Predatory teacher Maya (played by Louisa Clein) has been grooming her boyfriend David Metcalfe’s son for months now, but she seems to have finally lost her hold over the teen.

Jacob is feeling down and horrible over being chucked out of the Mill by Aaron (Danny Miller). He’s desperately sad that things are now going badly with Liv (Isobel Steele) and he heads off to see Maya to be comforted.

Jacob is gutted over what's happened between him and Liv in Emmerdale

However, of course, Maya is the one that completely stitched him up! She was the person who grassed him up to Aaron, after being furiously jealous that Jacob chose to hang out with Liv rather than her.

Maya is thrilled to be comforting Jacob, however, things that a twist when Aaron comes along and has another go at Jacob. The 15-year-old lad then suddenly realises that Maya was the one that told Aaron. Maya’s world comes crashing down as Jacob explodes into a rage. He warns the teacher to stay away from him for good.

It looks like only a matter of time before Maya’s sick secret is exposed. We know later in the week that the row between the pair will intensify and that Jacob threatens to tell his dad everything if she doesn’t leave him alone.

Maya decides it’s time to flee the village but in her haste she takes a serious fall.

“She’s frightened,” explains Louisa, who plays her. “In her panicked state, she tries to pull a suitcase off the top of a cupboard. But it gets caught and flings back at her and she falls off the chair she’s standing on. She’s unconscious and there’s blood.”

Will she survive? And will David finally learn the truth?

Emmerdale continues tonight on ITV at 7pm.
