David Platt's conscience pricked in Christmas Corrie scenes

Coronation Street’s David Platt will find himself feeling guilty as the show heads into the festive period, when he has to comfort Callum Logan’s distraught mother.

New pictures shot on location show hairdresser David, played by Jack P Shepherd, coming to the aid of the missing drug dealer’s mum Marion (Susan Cookson) after she has her purse stolen.

The pair bump into each other at a Christmas market and put aside their previous differences for a coffee and a chat, according to Digital Spy.

David soon realises that Marion’s stolen purse is the least of her worries, and that she is in pieces over her son’s disappearance.

Little does she realise that David knows exactly where Callum is – buried under the concrete floor of the new garage conversion at his house, after David’s wife Kylie (Paula Lane) killed the soap bad boy to protect his sister Sarah (Tina O’Brien).

The head of the Platt household has been holding it together and covering up evil Callum’s death, but will he do the right thing and confess when he sees Marion’s distress?

The scenes are expected to screen on Coronation Street in December.
