Is Emma's love bubble about to burst on Doctors? Valerie makes a SHOCK discovery about Aashiq. But will Emma believe her story?
As far as Emma Reid (played by Dido Miles) is concerned, things are going great between her and new love interest, Aashiq Sawney (Raj Ghatak) on Doctors (1:45pm on BBC One, see our TV Guide for full listings).
But little does Emma know that there's more to Aashiq than meets the eye, and he has been hiding a BIG secret from her!
However, while surgery receptionist, Valerie Pitman (Sarah Moyle) is out and about, she makes a startling discovery about Aashiq...
Unfortunately, when Valerie reports her SHOCK discovery to Emma, the medic just thinks Valerie is trying to cause trouble, as payback for "stealing" chef Aashiq from her in the first place!
Can Valerie convince Emma to hear her out?
Or will Emma continue to be made a fool of by love-cheat Aashiq?
Meanwhile, Al Haskey (Ian Midlane) is digging a deeper hole for himself, since he still hasn't gotten around to telling Lily Walker (Verity Rushworth) he made a mistake when he agreed to their engagement.
Unfortunately, Lily is taking the engagement very seriously.
So when Al returns home at lunchtime, he unexpectedly finds himself face-to-face with Lily's parents, Terry (Jonathan Jaynes) and Susan Walker (Sherry Baines), who Lily has invited to lunch to meet her amazing fiance, Al!
Will Al make an impression on his potential future in-laws?
Or will the unexpected visitors lead him to confess his true feelings?
Elsewhere, there's trouble at the surgery when Charles Keegan (James Flynn), a fraud officer arrives to investigate how many "ghost patients" are on The Mill's books.
These are people who may have died or moved away from the practice but still remain on the patient list.
Charles manages to rub the staff up the wrong way and clashes with Daniel Granger (Matthew Chambers) when he asks for the address of a patient, he suspects of being a health tourist who has cost the NHS thousands of £s when she gave birth to twins.
Has Charles got it all wrong?
Or is The Mill guilty of treating these ghost patients... and commiting fraud?
Doctors continues every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 1:45pm on BBC One
