Home and Away, Brody Morgan

Just as an influential food blogger makes a booking at Salt, disaster strikes in the restaurant kitchen. Will Brody's big moment be ruined?

Brody Morgan's cooking lessons with his mum-in-law Maggie Astoni have not only given Maggie a boost but provided Brody with some new healthy-eating ideas for the menu at his restaurant Salt.

With help from Maggie and Brody's wife Ziggy doing a shout-out on social media about the new dishes at Salt, word soon reaches various food bloggers, including an influential food guru, Stephen Brown.

But as Brody sees a boost in bookings, and rushes to get everything ready for the arrival of the food bloggers, disaster strikes in the kitchen...

Elsewhere in Summer Bay, Colby Thorne and his ex-fiancee Chelsea Campbell have been drawn closer together again, after their daring rescue of trapped teenagers Ryder Jackson, Coco Astoni and Raffy Morrison.

However, Chelsea, who transferred to the Summer Bay police force to resolve her unfinished business with Colby, is getting frustrated with the mixed messages he's been sending her.

Confronting Colby about his behaviour, this time it's Chelsea who makes a move and Colby doesn't resist when the policewoman kisses him! Could it be Colby and Chelsea are officially back together?

Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
