Home and Away spoilers: Willow and Dean start a credit card scam!

Home and Away - Willow Harris and Dean Thompson

Cash-strapped and homeless, Dean comes up with an illegal idea for him and girlfriend Willow to make some fast, easy money...

Penniless pair Willow and Dean have been secretly squatting at the Pier Apartment while its usual residents Colby and Robbo aren't around. But there's only so long they can hide out there before they find themselves homeless again.

With loan shark Brett on his case, Dean is desperate to make some money and comes up with a plan to skim credit cards at Salt. But Willow feels guilty when she realises they'll be ripping off their own friends. However, with Brett threatening to turn nasty, she realises there's no other choice and agrees to go along with Dean's plan. But things don't go as planned when the couple break into the restaurant that night, and accidentally knock Alf to the ground while making their escape...

Elsewhere in the Bay, as Raffy prepares to pack her bags and move back in with the Morgan family, a social worker, Catherine, arrives for an unexpected visit and senses all is not well in the Palmer house. Catherine has come to investigate the reasons why Ty ran away and then somehow ended up in hospital. Could Ty's foster placement with Marilyn and John now be in jeopardy?

Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters.

Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave?

Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy.

He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
