The 93rd Oscar Nominations are in!

It might be a weird year, but at least we have the Oscar nominations to fight about today! The nominations were announced today in a global livestream hosted by Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. If you feel like time's even wobblier than usual, you're not alone! The Oscars usually take place back in February. However, due to the pandemic wreaking havoc on the film industry, The Academy agreed to postpone the ceremony until April 25th of this year. This change means that the window of eligibility to be nominated was extended to February 28th 2021(the date that the ceremony was originally scheduled for). That means you'll see films from both the 2020 and 2021 calendar years in the nominations below.
