Hollyoaks spoilers: GUILTY Maxine Minniver desperately tries to save her new husband, Damon
Maxine Minniver swings into action as her husband Damon Kinsella faces trial for fraud. What has she got up her sleeve this time?
Maxine Minniver has been weighed down with guilt following her new husband Damon Kinsella’s arrest in Hollyoaks.
Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) watched in horror as Damon was arrested for fraud after stealing from his wife's charity funds.
The shock events took place at Maxine’s ‘living funeral’ when Damon, who was convinced his wife had just weeks to live, secretly took the money to give his wife the best possible life in her dying days.
However, he has no idea she has been faking her ‘terminal illness’ all along and is infact suffering with Munchausen syndrome.
Following Damon’s arrest, Maxine finds herself being harassed online in the run-up to his trial.
Lawyer James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) explains that Maxine’s illness is the best defence for Damon’s trial and tells Max that she needs to be in court so that the jury can see for themselves just how ill she is.
However James has no idea it’s all a big fake. So far Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) is the only one who knows about Maxine’s deception and she is horrified when Maxine uses makeup ahead of the trial to make herself look even more ill.
When Damon sees his wife looking even more frail and pale than ever, he’s immediately scared about how her health seems to have suddenly taken a turn for the worse.
When will Maxine’s lies come to light?
Elsewhere Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) is in turmoil following recent events that put lives on the line and the Maaliks continue to struggle with the terrible consequences.
Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4
