Things take a SPOOKY turn for Luca McIntyre (played by Ross McLaren), Emma Reid (Dido Miles) and Sid Vere (Ashley Rice) on today's Halloween themed episode of Doctors! (1:45pm - see our TV Guide for listings).
At The Mill, Luca, Emma and Sid are all intrigued by a collection of short stories called The Blood Rooms.
A trilogy of tales then begins, with Luca, Emma and Sid each facing a scary encounter with things that go bump in the night!
First up, Luca is invited to a dinner party at a sinister looking house.
His host, Albie Swinton (Hugh Stubbins), shows Luca around but warns him NOT to look in the kitchen fridge!
Luca starts to sense all is not right when he enters a room covered in plastic sheeting.
Then Albie starts to talk about a strange ritual!
Could it be that Luca is on the menu for tonight's DEADLY dinner party?
Emma is alarmed when she finds her latest B&B guest, Vincent Walberswick (Gregory A Smith), taping-up the windows of his bedroom.
Vincent claims he is being pursued by a creature called Nightmare, which won't stop until it KILLS him!
Emma is certain there is another explanation behind Vincent's paranoia.
But when she offers to watch over Vincent while he gets some much-needed sleep, things take a NIGHTMARE turn for Emma...
In the final tale, Sid falls asleep on the MSU exam bed while reading The Blood Rooms.
When the medic wakes-up, he discovers he's now in a strange, infinite dream space!
But Sid is not alone...
He comes face-to-face with Sid-Sid, an EVIL version of himself!
Doctors continues Monday to Thursday at 1:45pm on BBC One.
